Attendees that cancel on or after July 1 will NOT receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. You may cancel online or by emailing CASIS at Events@ISSNationalLab.org.

Attendees must be 18 years of age or accompanied by an attendee, parent, or legal guardian who is 18 years of age to attend this event and all related activities.

CASIS will have photographers and videographers taking pictures and video of event activities and people. We do not prohibit participants, exhibitors, news organizations, or other companies from photographing or video/audio recording activities.

By attending this event, you agree that CASIS has the right to use, reproduce, broadcast, or incorporate in any manner whatsoever, all or any portion of photographs, audio, and/or videos of you for use in marketing materials and/or training materials and for internal use (“Materials”). You grant, irrevocably transfer, and assign us your entire right, title, and interest, if any, in and to the Materials and all copyrights in the Materials arising in any jurisdiction throughout the world, including the right to register and sue to enforce such copyrights against infringers. You also waive the right to royalties or other compensation related to the use of the Materials. You understand that the Materials may be substantially edited, altered, rearranged, or modified. You hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the Materials in any media.

CASIS, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the event anyone for any lawful reason, including but not limited to anyone that is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the event or any other attendee or anyone from an embargoed country defined by U.S. Code. Attendees who are refused admission or expelled from the event will not receive a refund of any payment rendered.

CASIS will continue to follow CDC guidelines as well as state and local government guidelines to provide attendees a safe environment at the event. Attendees are encouraged (but not required) to wear masks indoors and in high-traffic areas.

CASIS has worked closely with the Hyatt Regency Seattle team and has been following guidance from local public health authorities in the Seattle area, along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to provide everyone a safe and successful environment at this year’s in-person conference.

During the week, hotel staff will frequently clean common areas and surfaces. Sanitizer stations are also prominently placed throughout the hotel. As a reminder, local transportation including ride-shares and taxis requires the driver and passengers to wear a well-fitting face mask. Other establishments throughout the area may also require face masks. We highly recommend you arrive prepared.

Except where prohibited by applicable law, CASIS does not bear any legal liability or responsibility for the safety of any attendee attending this event or traveling in or from this event. CASIS disclaims any liability for the acts of any outside entities related to this event, and we reserve the right to cancel the event without liability.

Airline tickets, hotel reservations, and any other accompaniments in anticipation of attending the event are done at the attendee’s own risk. In the event that CASIS cancels the event, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund of registration payment.

Each attendee shall be personally responsible for his/her behavior including any minor(s) they are accompanying. The organizers do not accept responsibility of the behavior of any attendee oroutside entity during the event. CASIS shall not be liable for any delays or failure in performance or interruptions of services resulting directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of CASIS, including but not limited to, any act of God, war, terrorism, pandemic (including the COVID-19 pandemic), failure of transportation, weather, accidents, fires, electrical failures, strikes, labor disputes, postal delays, explosions, and government orders or regulations.

Attendees at this event agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CASIS and its officers, directors, and agents against all claims arising out of actions or omissions of attendees at or in connection with this event.

Except where prohibited by applicable law, CASIS disclaims any and all direct, special, consequential, incidental, punitive, or other indirect damages of any kind, whether alleged as a breach of contract or tortious conduct, including negligence, or based on any other cause of action.

If applicable, CASIS reserves the right to substitute any equally qualified speaker in case of an emergency or cancellation. We have no duty with respect to presenters, exhibitors, or sponsors and make no endorsements of any presentation or product. The views, opinions, and presentations of speakers at this event may not reflect those of CASIS.
